Legal stuff is a pain and we're not particularly interested in collecting your data beyond what we need to in order to provide this service, and stuff that is typical for monitoring services on the Internet.

Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions or concerns. We'd rather not have to worry about this in a courtroom setting!

What we collect

When playing the game

When you connect to the race47 server from HITMAN, HITMAN sends a lot of information to our server. Due to the nature of how custom servers work in HITMAN, we cannot fully control what gets sent. Not all information that HITMAN sends to our server is used, however we do use the list below.

In addition, the Race47Client mod for HITMAN collects additional information too, also listed below.

• Your IP address
• Your user ID on the game distribution service you use (Steam, Epic Games, GOG, Xbox)
• Your given username on the game distribution service you use (Steam, Epic Games, GOG, Xbox)
• Tokens to prove user account ownership on the game distribution service you use (Steam, Epic Games, GOG, Xbox)
• How you use HITMAN, including gameplay events and statistics (such as what in-game targets you kill and how you killed them)
• How you use the Race47Client modification for HITMAN, as required to provide our services (such as settings of multiplayer lobbies you create)

When browsing the website

When browsing the website, we use the following information that your computer and web browser sends to us.

• Your IP address
• Which web browser you're using
• Your operating system

Purposes for using information

We use this information to provide you services (such as being able to play custom multiplayer game modes in HITMAN); to further develop and improve our services (such as by adding new features we think our users would enjoy); and to monitor and prevent problems with our service.

What we store

We may store information internally in logs or a database. Logs are deleted on a regular basis.

Personally identifying information, such as your username or IP address, is not stored on a permanent basis.

What we share

In order to provide our services, we may share the following information with other users of the service.

• Your given username on the game distribution service you use (so we can show who is who when playing in a multiplayer lobby)
• Limited information on how you use HITMAN (such as when you kill in-game targets being shared with others in a multiplayer lobby)
• Limited information on how you use the Race47Client modification for HITMAN (such as multiplayer lobby settings)

Beyond that, we do not share users' personal information except in the following circumstances:

• For legal reasons: in response to a subpoena, court order, or similar governmental request
• For protection: if we have good faith belief of an emergency that could result in serious injury or death, we may disclose information
• With your consent: we may disclose information to you or other third parties, if you consent to it

Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to update our privacy policy from time-to-time, at our own discretion, without notifying our users. We encourage you to frequently check back here for any changes.
